New sales partner in Ireland

Jeffrey Borland is settling in well at Marshall's, and it is good to see such an old hand back where he should be; selling machinery. He has only recently started working for the company and is already marketing Binderberger and DALEN machinery in Ireland. Based in County Antrim, Jeffrey has a limited number of machines at his yard, but this will increase as demand increases.

Allan was generous in his praise for Jeffrey. "When we heard that he was available it was too good an opportunity to miss. Jeffrey is well known in the business and no-one has a bad word to say about him."

But there are other advantages too. "Jeffrey will actually be able to get to our customers in Scotland more easily than we can at the moment," Allan explained, "and he'll also be able to do some deiveries for us as he's moving around the country. The whole firewood industry is growing at the moment and we have to expand to keep up with demand. People have to look for bigger machines to keep up."

Despite only being set up in Ireland for a couple of months, Jeffrey has already sold a Binderberger 30-tonne logsplitter. He admitted, "I've a lot to learn about all the machines, so I'm on a really big learning curve. But I'm really looking forward to the future.
