DALEN 1550

The DALEN 1550 is a hydraulic log splitter which complies with current regulations regarding working environment and safety. The splitter is delivered in two models: 1550-N (3.5- 5.6 ton splitting power) or 1550-S (3.5-8.0 ton splitting power).

The log splitter is a safe investment and is easy to operate. It provides you with quality wood which is produced in a safe working environment. The hydraulic splitter is fast and effective, and can be used on logs up to 68cm. Stepless piston stroke adjustment makes the splitter effective on short logs as well, and the splitting channel is designed to centre small logs and keep them steady during the splitting process.

The log splitter is operated with two handles. This makes it a safe place to work, because the valves and the hydraulic hoses contain a cover which provides an effective shield for the operator in the event of a hose rupture. The cover may be used as an intermediate storing place for the logs.

DALEN 1550 is delivered with 2/4 splitting knife as standard. For easier operation of the knife, a handle for height adjustment can be mounted. This handle makes it possible to adjust the knife to additional heights.

Additionally, the splitter can be equipped with an extra board for intermediate storing of logs, handle for adjusting the height of the knife, and 6- way splitting knife. This gives increased capacity because you can place the wood on the extra board in case you need to split the logs one more time. The knife is constructed in such a way that the splitting process is carried out on several levels, thus making the splitting process easier.
